Mokara orchids are a beautiful flower with velvety, star shaped blooms. The blooms are somewhat smaller than dendrobium orchids. And their petals are more defined. Mokara orchids are a favorite for Hawaiian weddings. You can make a simple yet beautiful Hawaiian wedding bouquet with a few mokara sprays and green ti leaves. They have a warm and vibrant color that makes them popular as a decorative flower.
We offer mokara orchids in a choice of red, yellow or orange. Each order will contain ten fresh stems. These are popular wedding colors so these orchids are an excellent choice for your wedding theme. The color is natural. As always we will pack your flowers with the greatest of care. We send all of our flowers and leis by FedEx Priority which is one or two day service.
Mokara orchid sprays are a seven day advance order selection. Please order a week or more before the shipping date.
These lovely blooms can last up to two weeks. Just change the water and trim a bit from the bottom of the stems every few days.
Mokara are a cross of three different orchid species: Ascocentrum, Arachnis and Vanda. The live plants take in moisture from the air so they take some experience to grow. The first mokara were bred in Singapore and they are now found throughout the world. You will find them in various sizes at orchid shows.
