The Christina Lei is made from the individual 'lip' of nearly 600 dendrobium orchid blossoms. It takes an experienced lei maker about 2 hours to sew this lei once the 'lips' have been individually picked and sorted.
This beautiful lei is very hardy and strong, but looks rather delicate because of it's intricate design. The lips sewn together make a sort-of 'square' edge to the lei, which will lay flat at about an inch high and 2 inches across.
Please allow at least one extra day before we can ship this lei. We will have to be certain that we can set aside a lot of time to dedicate to making only this lei, and will have to fit it in the schedule.
How to Care for your orchid lei:
For the longest life and freshest appearance of your lei, unpack fresh orchid lei immediately upon arrival. Spray or mist the orchids with lukewarm water. Place inside a plastic produce or grocery bag and leave in the fridge until use. Do not freeze.
Orchid leis will last for about 5 days from the date they are made and shipped.
